Layla-thul-Qadr and Eid al-Fithr

Layla-thul-Qadr refers to the Night of Power. Layl means Night and Qadr is Power.

This Night is construed to be the most sacred, among the nights, pertaining to the Islamic calendar! Its sanctity is recognized due to the great reality that the Quraan began to be revealed to Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH) within this night of power! The first five verses of Sura-e- Alaq were revealed to the Prophet, while he was contemplating inside the Cave of Hira, (City of Mecca, Saudi Arabia) through the Arch-Angel Jibraeel, from Allah, Most Gracious! Most High!

The Layla-thul-Qadr has been declared as the Night of Decree by Allah and, further, that it is Better than 1000 months! Hadith, Bukhari, says that whoever prays with faith as well as sincerity, in this Night, would be forgiven all his sins! The recommended supplication, for chanting, during the night of power is: “O Allah, indeed you pardon, you love to pardon, so pardon me”, (Hadith, Ibn-e- Majah).

Six signs have been given to a Muslim by Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH), to identify Layla-thul-Qadr:

1. The Night would be peaceful, till Dawn.
2. It should neither be hot nor cold.
3. The Moon looks like Full or half plate.
4. The Night of Power should be searched for within the last 10 odd nights of Ramazaan.
5. There could be the possibility of rain within the Layla-thul-Qadr.
6. Following the Night of Power, the next morning the SUN shall come out WITHOUT SUN RAYS!

Eid al-fithr is referred to as the feast for breaking the fast! It is the first of the three Eids which are celebrated by the Muslim world, the next two being the Eid ul Azha and the Eid e Milaad-Un-Nabi. This is religious holiday and marks the end of the month-long dawn to sunset fasting in the course of the month of Ramazaan, falling on the very 1^st day of the Shawwaal month of the Islamic Calendar!

At the beginning of the day of Eid, an Islamic prayer, that consists of 2 Rakaths, Units, is prayed inside the mosque, hall or open filed, in association with a congregation. The crux of the Prayer is the Declaration, in words and posture, that Allah is the greatest! Next, the Muslims diversify in order to carry out the celebration and entertain themselves as well as their relatives and friends, through the Eid Cuisine!

The occupancy rate, pertaining to the prominent hotels all over the world, does increase phenomenally in view of the holidays connected with the Eid al-fithr! In conjunction with the Eid as well as the week long Eid-Break, it feels apparently unacceptable by the lovers of the entertainment activities not to have the Staycation planned out in relation to multiple Hotels on top of Amusement Trips!
